Dear Emma,

Thank you for helping me start telling my story. It's been a really good three months or so working with you on this.

You've taught me a lot both about myself and some important lessons too. I know it wasn't easy for you to write it and share what I wanted to say. It wasn't easy for me to tell you it either. I hope helping me with my story has given you some ideas of where to go from here, not just for me, but for you too.

Just, don't forget me when you start working on other projects. I don't want to be one of those stories of yours that sits in a corner and gathers dust. Come visit me every once in a while. Maybe we'll talk about other things!

You know there are always other stories to tell and that, like most stories, recovery never really exactly ends either – stuff has a tendency to happen.

Oh, and please don't forget what you taught me with that song you've been playing on your phone lately:

“A brighter day is coming my way

Yes, tomorrow will be kinder.”

It's really good advice.

Thanks again,
