Title: Wishful Thinking
Trigger Warning: suicidal ideation
Rating: PG-13
I don't belong here.
I want to belong, but...
I also want to be me.
It's easier being we than me,
but no one shares that concept here
in the way I do.
I'm tired of pretending. Sometimes
I wish there was a button to push to go back.
I want to start over.
to go to school over again
and take up psychology
turn the world of medicine upside down.
Because things need to be shaken up and more aware.
And medicine needs to be more about ME and less about money.
Otherwise, I'd rather just
let it all END HERE and GIVE UP.
I'm not going anywhere and trying
doesn't feel worth the work.
